A Landmark Investment in Mountain Tourism, Culture, and Sustainable Growth

At the gateway between Eastern and Western Georgia, nestled in the captivating landscape of the Small Caucasus Range, the Kharagauli Ropeway Network (KHRWN) and Hospitality Infrastructure Development Project is a visionary initiative designed to establish Chkheri as a flagship mountain resort destination.​

Bordering the renowned Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, the area combines unique natural beauty with cultural heritage and untapped tourism potential. The project is led by JSC GH Agri (GHA) as part of its broader hospitality and infrastructure development strategy for the region.

Project Vision

The KHRWN project aims to create a fully integrated, four-season destination focused on eco-tourism, active recreation, and community-based hospitality, through:
  • A multi-station ropeway system linking natural, historical, and recreational sites

  • Eco-friendly accommodation infrastructure, including hotels, vocational lodging, and family resorts

  • Adventure and entertainment facilities such as zipline parks, forest coasters, event platforms, and a nature museum

Phase 1 (2025–2027)

  • Ropeway Stations 1 & 2

  • Central Hotel, Vacational Hotel, Zipline Park

Phase 2 (2026–2027)

  • Ropeway Stations 3 & 4

  • Panorama Hotel, Family Coaster, Forest Trails

Phase 3 (2027–2028)

  • Full integration of ropeway, leisure, and hospitality assets

  • Expansion of cultural tourism and event programming
